The challenge
Founded in 2018, Strap-On-Me combines technical product innovation with a minimalist design language and sells internationally. The Shopify experience needed to preserve that premium visual positioning without creating SEO ambiguity between regional and language-specific storefronts.
The storefront needed to feel intentionally designed around the brand rather than assembled from standard ecommerce sections. Typography, spacing, imagery, collection presentation and product storytelling all had to work together as one visual system.
With regional domains, multiple languages and market-specific content, small SEO implementation details can create duplicate signals or weaken the relevance of localized pages. The build therefore treated design and search architecture as one connected system.
Our role
Geocommerce handled the custom Shopify experience with equal attention to visual refinement and the search implications of operating across different countries and languages.
A tailored storefront system built around Strap-On-Me's minimalist, fashion-influenced visual direction instead of relying on generic theme patterns.
Custom sections and layouts were translated into a responsive storefront that keeps product storytelling clear across desktop and mobile.
Localized content was structured so language versions could remain distinct, readable and search-friendly rather than behaving like duplicated copies.
Regional storefront considerations were handled with attention to how search engines interpret market-specific pages, URLs and content relationships.
Headings, collection context and page structure were organized to support both human scanning and clearer search understanding.
Reusable design patterns keep the storefront consistent while still allowing merchandising and editorial sections to evolve over time.

International SEO strategy
The SEO work focused on avoiding the common problems that appear when the same brand operates across different regions and languages, while keeping each storefront useful for its intended audience.
Storefront experience
The customer journey balances large visual moments with clear navigation, product discovery and conversion paths, allowing the brand personality to lead without making the interface harder to use.
Large-format imagery and restrained layouts create a premium first impression aligned with the brand's fashion and design influence.
Collections and product categories remain easy to understand even as the visual treatment stays editorial.
Merchandising blocks guide customers toward relevant collections and products without overcrowding the page.
Language and regional content can change without breaking the overall visual system or creating inconsistent page structures.
Content sections retain meaningful heading and page relationships alongside the custom visual design.
Reusable Shopify sections give the brand flexibility to launch campaigns and update content without rebuilding the storefront.
"Premium design and international SEO work best when they are planned as the same system, not added in separate phases."
